Introduction:
 

 
  • North America Merchandising Services Canada / Retail Marketing Solutions is seeking a hardworking, self-motivated individual looking for an Account Manager’s position in our fast paced, growing third party merchandising company.  MSI/RMS does work nationally in a wide variety of retail environments ranging from grocery to hardware to convenience for a wide variety of national clients.  The Account Manager acts as a representative of the clients and as a liaison between them and MSI/RMS Retail Operations in coordinating and executing various programs and projects.
 
Qualifications:
 
  • Retail grocery or related industry knowledge and experience (secondary education also an asset).
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills.
  • Excellent oral, written communication & negotiation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills – a good team player for an office environment.
  • Good time management & organizational skills
  • Excellent multi-tasking skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced/time sensitive environment & prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision (accountability).
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • To develop and maintain strong, trusting working relationships with all vendors/clients.
  • Work with and meet with National Brand vendors to determine their needs and satisfaction with your ability to solve their retail or merchandising objectives.
  • Develop and communicate clear vendor/client objectives to the Retail Operations department and ensure any issues are solved in a timely manner.
  • Work with Retail Operations department to solve issues and ensure vendor/client objectives are met.
  • Coordinate special projects for vendors/clients.
  • Participate in weekly conference calls with Retail Operations department to discuss vendor/client objectives and help solve any issues at the retail level.

Salary:

 
  • Salary negotiable and based on related industry experience.
